Denver, CO — August 21, 2026 — CardPrintz today announced that Contact, the programming application for its dual-chip NFC business cards, is available on the App Store. The release follows the application's Android debut earlier this month and completes cross-platform support across the CardPrintz card line.
CardPrintz manufactures NFC business cards on a dual-chip architecture. Contact is the software that programs them — writing vCard data to a card, individually or in batches, and updating that data at any point in the card's life. With today's release, cardholders program and reprogram their cards from an iPhone.
What the iPhone release adds
For customers standardized on iPhone — a substantial share of executive and sales organizations — Contact removes the last operational dependency in the CardPrintz workflow. Cards are programmed, reprogrammed, and read entirely from the device already in the user's pocket.
Single-card programming.Enter details and write a complete vCard to a card in one tap. Recipients receive the full record on their phone without installing anything.
Batch programming.Import a roster and program an entire run in a single session — an onboarding cohort, a conference team, a franchise distribution. Runs are tracked per card and can be paused or resumed.
Reprogramming and locking.A card is not consumed by its first write. Contents are updated on the same physical card as needed, with an optional permanent lock when the data is final.
Capture and CRM routing.Contact reads cards it receives, photographs paper cards and extracts their details through on-device text recognition, and reads QR codes. Captured contacts route to the customer's own CRM through an endpoint they configure.
Platform notes
NFC programming and reading are supported on iPhone. Apple's Core NFC framework does not provide third-party NFC access on iPad; on that device Contact operates as a capture tool — business card scanning, QR reading, contact storage, and CRM routing.
Contact requires no account. All core functions operate offline.
Privacy by architecture
Contact contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking. Card data and captured contacts remain on the device, and nothing is transmitted to CardPrintz. Where a CRM is connected, data moves directly to infrastructure the customer owns and controls.
For executives handling confidential relationships and regulated client information, the location of contact data is a material concern rather than a footnote. CardPrintz treats it as an engineering requirement.
Availability
Contact is available now on the App Store for iPhone, and on Google Play for Android. A direct APK is offered for organizations requiring installation outside the Play Store.
Contact works with CardPrintz dual-chip NFC business cards and with standard NTAG213, NTAG215, and NTAG216 tags.
